The Convergent Catholic Communion (CCC) is an independent Catholic communion that bridges the rich traditions of Catholicism with a modern, inclusive approach to worship and doctrine. Rooted in the ancient faith, yet open to the movement of the Holy Spirit in our time, we seek to be a welcoming home for all who desire to deepen their relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
At the heart of the CCC is a commitment to the core principles of Convergence: the sacramental, evangelical, and charismatic streams flowing together in harmony. We uphold the sacraments as vital means of grace, preach the Gospel with clarity and conviction, and remain open to the dynamic work of the Holy Spirit within individuals, communities, and the world.

The CCC honors the rich heritage of the Catholic faith—its liturgy, sacraments, and apostolic succession—while joyfully embracing the Spirit’s call to renewal, reform, and radical welcome. We strive to make the ancient truths of our faith accessible, liberating, and relevant to the needs and hopes of today’s world.
Inclusive and Affirming
We proclaim without hesitation that the love of Christ extends to all people: LGBTQIA+ individuals, women and men equally, people of every race, background, relationship status, or circumstance. We are committed to being an LGBTQIA+-affirming and egalitarian communion, where all are welcome to participate fully in the life, sacraments, leadership, and ministries of the Church. We affirm the dignity, worth, and belovedness of every human being, made in the image of God and called to flourish in their gifts.

The Convergent Lectionary
The Convergent Lectionary, approved by the 2024 General Assembly of the Convergent Catholic Communion, is a thoughtfully curated guide to Scripture readings designed to reflect the holistic and inclusive ethos of the Convergent Catholic Communion. Rooted in the rhythms of the liturgical year, it harmonizes the richness of ancient traditions with contemporary sensibilities, offering a dynamic resource for worship, teaching, and personal devotion.
Drawing from both Eastern and Western Christian traditions, the Convergent Lectionary celebrates the breadth of Christian spirituality while honoring diverse theological perspectives. Its design emphasizes themes of unity, love, justice, and renewal, encouraging a deeper encounter with the living Word and its transformative impact on our lives and communities.
